Its a hard morning when you can’t understand what just happened. I think there are 3 big reasons what happened, happened.

1. Biden’s administration was a drag on the ticket. This is what happens when you have a sitting president who isn’t proactive about protecting their legacy. I literally can’t recall Biden doing anything except calling people garbage. That graphic that is being shared showing that the VP did worst in every county that Biden carried in 2020 is telling.
2. It’s still about not electing a woman. Here in Arizona we had people voting for a very liberal Senator at the same time as Tump. That split tells me all. Probably some hispanic voting trend in there too but clearly it was more about the VP than it was about Trump.
3. Obama is like Trump. People love him and will always love him but his popularity hasn’t translated into a larger movement. Trump is great at electing Trump but generally his choices for people to run for office always perform worse than he. We had a very good thing going until we didn’t.
